Division D has started the new Toastmasters Year with a BANG!  Last Saturday, club officers and members received great training at the TLI South at ISU’s College of Business.  Couldn’t attend?  Not to worry, there are still two more TLI opportunities at the TLI West this weekend, Saturday, July 17 and TLI North on Saturday, July 31!  Full details can be found on this very site!  Check them out – as you know, by having at least 4 more club officers in attendance (and registered for their respective officer training session), clubs will be halfway there to earning one of the 10 DCP goals! 

And it’s not too early to be thinking about contests!  The Division D Humorous Speech Contest will be held Friday, October 15 at 6 pm at Corporate South J101.  Briefings will be at 5:30.  Check back on this site’s “Contests” page for Area dates and times! 

As you may have already heard from your club board, at the Fall Conference (which is to be held right here, in Bloomington, October 29 and 30!) we will not be having a Tall Tales Contest, but rather, will have a Tall Tales Showcase.  Again, full details can be found on the “Contests” page.  Plan NOW to be at the Conference!  Check out the website at fearless2010.com; registration goes live August 1 and information will be updated all the time!  See you there!
